Surrender Flag is made of silk and linen handkerchiefs, thread and gold gild. The white flag is known to have been used first around 100 AD in both Chinese and Latin cultures. White flags have different meanings in different times and places. The use of a white flag demands a time to pause and a time to gave safe passage to the bearer. A white flag is often misunderstood as only a flag of surrender since normally the underdog is the one carrying the white flag. There are various symbols from specific times and places in history that are used on this flag as substitutes for stars. These symbols relate to the story of voting law as it varies from state to state and the complicated push towards federalization. There are various factions within American belief biases. For instance a swastika, a symbol commonly used by American White Nationalists such as the Nationalist Socialist Movement. The fleur de lis is included for many reasons. The French were supporters of American independence. The fleur de lis was used on a white french flag during their transition from monarchy to democracy and we will leave alone what a lily might symbolize to someone.
