Dogs Jumping Logs is made of silver, vermeil, and 18th and 19th century gems. These gems are primarily sourced from scrapped gold watch fobs that were no longer fashionable and therefore more useful for their intrinsic materials. This happens even today. Techniques include cast glass, hard stone cameo carving, cut gem panels and fabricated gems.
