Jewel 105 is a convertible tiara made of iron, gold, art nouveau flower enamel buttons, Chinese jade c. 1930, angel skin coral c. 1870, sterling flower c. 1880, opaline glass flower c. 1790, silk, velvet ribbon, citrine, mother of pearl, micro mosaic, painting on porcelain, carved French horn, carved jade, enamel, artificial pearls, satsuma porcelain c. 1880, archival foam core, and carved conch shell.
This piece is a tiara celebrating spring. The tiara convertible and can be worn with or without the birds. The fits into its flower pot-shaped box and can be displayed on it as well. The elements are primarily English and American in origin. Many were once brooches or large buttons.
